Cleto si anima, prende vita. Un borgo quasi abbandonato si sveglia e come un tempo rivive. Musiche, danze e profumi inebriano i vicoli e da lassù il magnifico castello ci osserva, come faceva secoli fa. Un artigiano mostra le sue creazioni; tamburelli, chitarre e nacchere. Altri mostrano ceramiche e tessuti lavorati a mano. Le pietre delle vecchie abitazioni ascoltano con gioia l’insolito frastuono. Il tempo sembra essersi fermato, come un sogno la vita scorre lungo le strette viuzze del borgo. Poi di nuovo il silenzio.
Cleto Festival, giunto quest’anno alla V edizione, è un progetto ideato dai giovani dell’associazione culturale “La Piazza”.
L’intento è quello di far rivivere il borgo, promuovendo una forma di turismo sostenibile che possa rilanciare il territorio circostante, attraverso tutte le forme dell’arte; dalla musica al ballo, dall’artigianato al teatro, dalla fotografia al cinema.
L’evento si svolge nel centro storico del borgo, lungo i vicoli che dal basso portano fino al maestoso castello che domina l’intera vallata. Tre serate durante le quali si possono ammirare prodotti artigianali unici, quali ceramiche, tessuti, e oggetti in legno, oltre a strumenti musicali realizzati dalle sapienti mani di artigiani locali. Le note musicali, suonate da artisti di grande talento, invadono le piazzette del borgo. Tarantelle, musica classica, jazz e funky animano le serate; e poi artisti di strada, teatro, proiezioni e mostre fotografiche, accompagnate dalla gustosa gastronomia locale che inebria di profumo l’intero borgo. Un miscuglio di sapori, odori, suoni e immagini, tutto questo è Cleto Festival.
Cleto is soul, comes to life. A village almost abandoned wakes up and relives as a time. Music, dance and scents intoxicate the alleys and from there the magnificent castle watching us, as it did centuries ago.
A craftsman shows his creations; tambourines, guitars and castanets. Others show ceramics and textiles, handmade. The stones of old houses with joy listening to the unusual noise. Time seems to stand still, like a dream life flows along the narrow streets of the village. Then silence again.
Cleto Festival, now in its fifth edition, is a project created by the young of the cultural association "La Piazza". The intent is to revive the village, promoting a form of sustainable tourism that can revitalize the surrounding area, through all forms of art; from music and dance, from crafts to theater, from photography to cinema.
The event takes place in the historical center of the village, along the narrow streets that lead from the bottom up to the majestic castle overlooking the entire valley. Three evenings during which you can admire unique craft products, such as ceramics, textiles, and wood objects, in addition to musical instruments made by the expert hands of local artisans. Musical notes, played by talented artists, invade the squares of the village.
Tarantella, classical music, jazz and funky enliven the evenings; and then street performers, theater, film and photography exhibitions, accompanied by tasty local cuisine intoxicating scent of the entire village.
A mixture of tastes, smells, sounds and images, all this is Cleto Festival.
